ABOUT ABOUT

When women gather with the intention and support to release shame, fear, and judgement- powerful transformation can occur. Our weekend retreat will be a space in which to unfold, rest, and nurture your body. Receive the healing medicine of music, yoga, the beauty of Orcas Island, food from the land, and sisterhood.

The yoga practice will be a unique combination of dynamic asana, somatic movement, and pranayama led by Djuna Mascall. We will engage with the asanas as vehicles of insight and nourishment for body and mind. This loving attention for the body allows the mind and heart to settle and deep inner work is possible.

Through motivation speaking, group exercises and a guided meditation sound bath, Katie Gray will lovingly lead the group through a sacred journey of understanding the individual and collective mind. By witnessing that which does not serve, we are able to return to a place of consciousness and presence, allowing for a deeper understanding of Love, acceptance and freedom.

Morning Star Farm is an enchanted farmstead located on Orcas Island in Washington State.  The 34 acres of pasture and forested land hosts an organic vegetable farm, fruit orchard, swimming pond, magical forest and sacred hand built barn for gathering. We will spend our days connected to the earth, water and majestic sprit of the forest.

Participants will have the opportunity to connect with the song of the forest and the beauty of the night sky with a sacred camping experience on the farm. Depending on how much time you feel necessary to set up your tent, please plan to arrive in the morning with enough time to get your personal camping scene dialed. If you prefer car camping, that is also an option.
